Iceman Scholarship Program
The Michigan Youth Cycling Program would like to recognize a student athlete at the completion
of the 2010 Iceman Cometh Challenge. This cyclist will have made a commitment to cycling and
represented the values of good character, courage, goal setting, and self-discipline through friendly
competition. We recognize that young racers sacrifice time, money, and energy to represent their teams,
family and cycling;often with little to no support those outside the cycling community. Kids Race Sports Development, proud sponsor of the Michigan Youth Cycling Program, would like to recognize this hard
work by awarding a scholarship to a deserving individual in an effort to support their educational
endeavors. The Michigan Youth Cycling Program will award an academic scholarship to the fastest
male and female, 18 and under rider.
. Scholarship Awards:
First place riders, male & female will receive a $1000.00 Scholarship.
Second place riders, male & female will receive a $500.00 Scholarship.
Third place riders, male & female will receive a $250.00 Scholarship.
Iceman Juniors will have two new categories
New for 2010, Iceman Juniors 18 & Under will have two categories ,one for males and one for females.
The new MYC Scholarship 18 and under categories will kick off the 2010 Iceman Cometh racing at 9am sharp!
Countdown to 2010 Iceman Cometh
March 20th marks our second annual fundraiser to raise awareness and scholarship aid for the MYC program..
The bar was set our first year through generous donations in excess of $3000.00 which was a huge success.
This year promises to be even more exciting as we are increasing the scholarship awards to juniors who place top three in each of the Spin to Win categories.
Please come out to spin and show your support for junior cycling as they ramp up for the season!
This fundraiser is hosted and sponsored in part by American Cycle and Fitness
