Iceman Scholarship Program

The Michigan Youth Cycling Program would like to recognize a student athlete at the completion of the Iceman Cometh Challenge. This cyclist will have made a commitment to cycling in Michigan and represented the values of good character, courage, goal setting, and self-discipline through friendly competition. We recognize that young racers sacrifice time, money, and energy to represent their teams, family and cycling;often with little to no support those outside the cycling community. Kids Race Sports Development, proud sponsor of the Michigan Youth Cycling Program, would like to recognize this hard work by awarding a scholarship to a deserving individual in an effort to support their educational endeavors. The Michigan Youth Cycling Program will award an academic cycling scholarships to the fastest male and female, 18 and under rider.

Michigan Youth Cycling Scholarships

The Michigan Youth Cycling Program would like to recognize ten student athletes (male & female) at the completion of the 2014 Iceman Cometh Challenge. These cyclists have made a commitment to cycling and represent the values of good character, courage, goal setting, and self-discipline through friendly competition. We recognize that young racers sacrifice time, money, and energy to represent their team, family and cycling, often with little support from those outside the cycling community.

This Years Awards are:

  • Men’s & Women’s First Place $1100.00 Scholarship
  • Men’s & Women’s Second Place $550.00 Scholarship
  • Men’s & Women’s Third Place $300.00 Scholarship
  • Men’s & Women’s Forth Place $100.00 Scholarship
  • Men’s & Women’s Fifth Place $50.00 Scholarship
